Alexa Gregorian

Alexa has been playing tennis competitively since the age of seven. She was the only freshman at Crescenta Valley High School to make the Varsity Tennis Team and later became the captain of her team senior year. Later, Alexa received a full ride to play for California State University of Northridge’s Women’s Division 1 Team. During her student athlete career, she began training and coaching top level juniors and recreational players of all ages at La Canada Flintridge Country Club. Alexa can improve your tennis game on and off the court with private/group lessons as well as one-on-one hitting sessions. Alexa is an all-around athlete who has also fallen in love with the game of pickleball. It’s a great workout. Alexa offers hourly privates and group lessons.

Stan Carter

Stan Carter, LCFCC tennis pro, has been on court at LCFCC since 2012. He is LCFCC’s Director of USTA Jr. Team Tennis, as well as one of LCFCC’s dedicated private teacher of lessons, groups, and clinics in our tennis department.

Stan specializes in teaching the fundamentals of the tennis game by giving his student the tools needed to develop into an athlete who plays and enjoys the lifetime sport of tennis, while allowing the player to reach any level of the game they desire.
Stan is in his 16th year in the USPTA, PTR, USTA, and is a former member of the Southern California USPTA board of officers. Stan is on the board of the Tennis Teachers Institute, dedicated to educating tennis teachers.

Duda Piai

A tennis coach from Brazil, she embarked on her tennis journey at the age of 5 and later competed on the ITF/WTA tour for a decade, achieving her highest ranking of 359 in the world. After concluding her professional career in 2020, Duda transitioned to coaching in São Paulo, Brazil. Later, she relocated to California and began coaching at the La Cañada Flintridge Country Club, where she works with players of all ages and skill levels.

Carlos Vicencio

Carlos discovered his passion for tennis at the age of 11 while honing his skills at LCFCC, where his journey with the sport began. His talent was evident early on as he secured a spot on the varsity team at Crescenta Valley High School during his freshman year, dominating as the number 1 singles player. Many may already be familiar with Carlos as he has been helping out at LCFCC kids’ summer camp for a few years now. He excels in connecting with both adults and young learners. With a wealth of experience, Carlos warmly welcomes both individual and group clients, ensuring tailored lessons to elevate their game.

Forrest Mesina

Forrest has been coaching tennis for a little over 5 years. He competed for the varsity team at Grant High School for 4 years and went on to play for the Glendale College Men’s Team for the next 3 Years. “Want to get a workout, or hone in on your skills, I am excited to bring your game to the next level. See you on the courts!”

Diego Camarillo

Diego has been passionate about tennis since a very young age. “I’ve evolved from a dedicated player to a skilled coach with 13 years of personal playing experience.” He has been coaching at the La Cañada Flintridge Country Club for two years now. As a certified tennis instructor, his coaching philosophy revolves around being an all-around player capable of improving skills across the game. He welcomes clients of all levels, from beginners to experienced players, and offers a versatile approach to skill development. Whether providing hitting lessons, private sessions, or group coaching, his focus is on helping you reach your goals on the court!

Additionally, he is the experienced expert stringer at the club who can take care of any racket or string services you may have!

Ara Baghdasaryan

Ara started playing tennis when he was 8 years old in the year 1992 at the Hrazdan School of Tennis in Yerevan, Armenia. He played in national tournaments in Armenia until the age of 15 and was seeded in the top 8 rankings in the nation before immigrating to the United States in the year 2000. He attended Burbank High School, where he played for the Varsity team.

His teaching career began in 2011 when he received his US Professional Tennis Association Coaching license. In 2017, he started working as a Tennis Instructor for the Los Angeles City Department of Recreation and Parks in Reseda, CA. Currently, he continues to teach at the Club, motivating the love of tennis and pickleball for many young and old enthusiasts while working to elevate their game to the next level.
