With more than 30 years of experience in golf, I enjoy helping beginners and intermediate players improve their ball striking and build confidence through patient practice. The short game is my favorite area to teach. In addition to instruction, I organize monthly tournaments at LCFCC for players of all skill levels.
I look forward to sharing my knowledge and having some fun on the course.

I’ve been passionate about golf since high school, when I competed in tournaments and worked at junior camps. At La Cañada, I focus on teaching women and junior golfers through the Tregnan Golf Academy. My approach is relaxed and fundamentals-focused, helping players build confidence and consistency in their game.

I was introduced to golf at a young age and began taking the game seriously in my early teens, spending countless hours practicing and playing local courses. Junior tournaments and high school varsity golf helped shape my competitive background. Since joining La Cañada Country Club in 2022, I enjoy working with members and helping players improve their skills while enjoying time on the course.
A hidden gem in La Canada Flintridge! Invited as a guest to play at the course and I have to say I’m so impressed with the views, layout, upkeep, and the challenge of the course! I share the sentiment of one of the posters that our guide/golf pro Scott was super accommodating and so insightful! If you get a chance to play with him, you’ll marvel at the ease in which he plays; it kind of makes you want to take the time to get better. And if paying a membership allows me access to use the course daily, take a swim in the pool, play tennis, and just relax, then by all means! I was also very impressed with the staff; they were very professional and friendly!

I’m just a beginning golfer, so the no-score, no-stress tournament was just that… a lot of fun for both of us! We really enjoyed ourselves and look forward to the next one.

- Course Speed of Play and Ease of Use: Our 18-hole, par-70 course is scenic, challenging, and in tip-top condition with brand-new cart paths. Why play a municipal course when an LCFCC membership makes the game a pleasure? Speed of play for 9 holes is right around an hour, and a full 18 takes under 3.5 hours. Plus, our members rarely wait for a tee time.
- Tournaments for Every Golfer: From the Men’s Canyon Classic to the Women’s themed tournaments, down to our relaxed, no-handicap-required beginner events, our tournament schedule delights and challenges all skill levels.
Men’s Golf Association (MGA)
A self-organized group ensuring fair play and great competition. The MGA monitors handicaps and organizes our exciting men’s tournaments alongside the SCGA.
