LCFCC’s PGA Junior League Golf

LCFCC’s PGA Junior League Golf program is open to boys and girls ages 13 and under. No golf skills are required to join. Kids learn the game and enjoy relaxed competition within the Pasadena League. The program encourages mentorship, builds confidence, and teaches sportsmanship. Youngsters have the opportunity to advance to the All-Star Team during the postseason.

Golf Camp Cañada

Golf Camp Cañada is all about having fun while learning the lifelong sport of golf. Our instructors use games, shorter distances, and fun incentives to encourage each youngster’s athletic abilities, and to teach the skills and behaviors essential to success on and off the golf course. While making golf fun and approachable, Camp Golf Cañada places your child squarely on the cart path to success!

Birdies and Junior Golf

We’re Serious About Golf, But Our Junior Golfers Have Serious Fun. From Birdies (ages 4-7) to Golf Camp Cañada, to Junior Golf Association, to Girl Power Golf, and Junior Weekly 1 hour group instruction, LCFCC’s comprehensive clinics cover everything from the fundamentals of the golf swing to putting and chipping and golf course etiquette.

Our instructors understand that golf has to be fun and that grouping kids is important to their development. Noticing we weren’t getting girls signed up in our Junior Clinics, we instituted an innovative Girls Junior Group, which we call Girl Power Golf, taught by a woman, and were able to fill our clinics with young girls learning golf!

The lessons and clinics are a great starting point and allow children and youth to get comfortable on the course and around the golf facility, have fun and learn great lifetime skills, as well as provide for a fantastic future in the game of golf.

Girl Power Golf

Designed and taught by a young female pro, our periodic Girl Power Golf is specifically designed with girls, ages 7+ in mind. Golf is taught in groups of girl-only clinics and fun events make each session a go-to making friends destination.

Gilbert Dreyfuss Scholarship — The Gibby Tournament

La Canada Flintridge Country Club — Gilbert Dreyfuss Scholarship High School Invitational, open to all high school-age golfers in the greater LA area. The winner of the boy’s division and the winner of the girl’s division will each receive a $1,000 scholarship to use towards the college of their choice.

We are very proud of our youth development programs at the LCF Country Club and this is another way of encouraging our youth and the larger community of talented high school players to stay in the game!
