The Annual Gilbert Dreyfuss High School Invitational and Scholarship

La Cañada Flintridge Country Club is very proud of our youth development programs and the Gibby Tournament is another way of encouraging local youth and the larger community of talented high school players to stay in the game!

The Gilbert Dreyfuss Scholarship High School Invitational is open to all high school-age golfers in the greater LA area. The winner of the boy’s division and the winner of the girl’s division will each receive a $1,000 scholarship to use towards the college of their choice. The tournament takes place annually in January.

“I am very proud to announce this scholarship for young golfers. My father, for whom the scholarship is named, was the owner of the La Cañada Flintridge Country Club for more than forty years. It is fitting to name a scholarship tournament in his memory, as he was a champion of higher education, and throughout his life contributed generously to his alma maters, University of Southern California and Loyola Law School.
